The prime focus of ASHA CHINH is on providing financial aid to under-previledged children for education. Currently, some work has been initiated in the field of primary and secondary education. The future thrusts also include higher education and vocational education especially for brilliant, deserving students.

Diya, daughter of Mrs. Geeta and Mr. Sikandar, student of class III at Bright Public school, Ludhiana, was already being supported for her monthly fee since March, 2013 on personal basis and was taken into the fold of ASHA CHINH September 2015 onwards. Her mother is a daily wager at P.A.U., Ludhiana and her father is an auto-rickshaw driver. She was also helped in her studies by ------ at personal level, and has now secured admission in a government school on merit and is studying in class V. Since the school provides free education, books and uniform. she does not require financial aid.

Kishan, son of Mr. Sanjay Pal, student of class V at Adarsh Public School, Ludhiana, has been supported by ASHA CHINH for full fee from July, 2016 to March, 2017.. His father is doing private job and mother works as housemaid. Kishan, who has two more siblings, is a brilliant student.

Tanu

Tanu, daughter of Mr. Daya Krishan Joshi, is the youngest among four children. She is a student of class VIII at Adarsh Public School, Ludhiana and is good in studies. Her father, an electrician in a private hospital earns a meagre salary and also does odd jobs to make bothe ends meet. Her full fee from August 2016 to March, 2017 has been paid by ASHA CHINH.

Gudia, daughter of Sh. Santu, is a student of class II. Bothe her father and mother work as labourers. ASHA CHINH has paid her full fee from April, 2016 to March, 2017. Though she is an average student at present, members of ASHA CHINH will take special interest in her studies with continuous monitoring and tutoring, if required.

Karan Sood

Karan Sood, son of late Mr. Naresh Sood, a student of class V at Adarsh Public School, Ludhiana, has been supported by ASHA CHINH for full fee from April, 2016 to March, 2017. Her mother was working as housemaid and was the sole bread-winner of the family, but now unable to work due to heart ailment. Members of ASHA CHINH are also trying to contact a social organization for the treatment of Karan’s mother.

 

Janvi, daughter of Mr. Surjit Singh, is a student of class IX at Adarsh Public School, Ludhiana. Her father was unemployed for the past few months due to ill health and her mother is unable to make bothe ends meet with her small private job ( Rs. Six thousand onor the ly per month). Janvi’s half fee concession has already been granted by the school , so she is being supported for the rest 50% fee by ASHA CHINH for the current session.

Saloni, daughter of Sh. Makaan Singh, a student of class II at Ganpati Vidya Mandir, Ludhiana was supported for admission fee (Rs. 5630/-) for the current session, along with books, stationery and uniform (both summer and winter). Besides, her monthly fee of Rs. 370/- per month is beng paid by ASHA CHINH. Her father was unemployed earlier but now, he has been helped in securing a private job with the help of ASHA CHINH. Her mother works a s a maid in a private school and earns a meagre salary of Rs. 2000/- per month.

Aanchal, daughter of Mr. Kamaljit and Mrs. Sanju, student of class X at Senior National High School, School, Ludhiana was helped for annual admission fee and monthly fee of May-June, 2016 as her father had met with an accident and was unable to work for two years. Now her father is working as a tempo driver and mother as daily wager in girls’ hostel at P.A.U., so she does not require financial assistance.

Muskan

Muskan student of class VI daughter of a class IV employee at P.A.U., Ludhiana. She is studying in government school at PAU and do not require financial aid, but needed help in studies and was not progressing with private tuition. She is being given free daily tuition by Neena Chawla and has shown tremendous improvement. ASHA CHINH will continue to support them in higher education also if they keep up their progress. She scored all 'A' grades in VIth and won the Goct. scholarship in 2017-18

Jasmeet Kaur

Jasmeet is a student of 10th standard at Atam Devki Niketan Public School. Father Gurdev Singh is a driver and mother house maker. The family of 6 staying in a one room rented accomodation following heavy losses in the business. Not able to pay the fees, two children were taken off from school and Jasmeet continued by help from friends. ASHA CHINH has paid her one year school fee in full. She is not appearing in her final exams. 

Julie is Class VIth student at Adarch Public School. Her father died in 2016 and since then her mother is taking care of the 3 daughters by working in houses.We applied for RACTAC Foundation in Australia and secured a scholarship for Julie. Asha Chinh is payng the fees of Julie and RACTAC is paying Rs. 2000 per month scholarship for sustainence.

Anjali is studying at Adarsh Public School in Class III. She was sponsored for her school fees in 2017 and has scored 84% marks in the final exam - we'll continue supporting her studies.

Dev, has been performing academically well in class II of Guru Nanak Public School, Azad Nagar. He is being taken care by single mother. Despite of financial and family crisis, he didn’t lose hope and has been consistently doing well in his studies. Taking into account his zeal to succeed in life, Asha Chinh decided to extend its support by sponsoring his school fees and other tuition expenses.

Jaspreet Kaur, daughter of Late Swaran Singh and being taken care by single mother who works as a labourer, has been doing consistently well academically. She studies in class VI of Guru Nanak Public School, Azad Nagar. Asha Chinh that works for a social cause, decided to contribute towards her growth and development by providing her scholarship in wake of financial distress. Jaspreet has always been a bright student and takes all the efforts to succeed in her career.

Ruchi, daughter of Shri Ram Avatar who works as a labourer doesn’t have enough financial means for her education. Asha Chinh working for all those who are worthy and wants to grow in life, decided to sponsor for her school fees and other tuition expenses from 2019. She has been a bright student of S.D.P. Senior Secondary School and she is putting all her efforts to become an educated being.

Nisha Jaiswal, studies in class XI of S.D.P. Senior Secondary School. She is doing academically well. Seeing her zeal, Asha Chinh supported her father Mr. Prahalad Parsad in financial distress who works as a labourer so that nothing could stop her from pursuing higher education. She is a very serious for her studies and walks extra miles to grow in life.

Radha, a very bright student of Gov. Senior Secondary School studies in class XI. Daughter of Mr. Bhagu who works as a street hawker wants her daughter to study hard and become a successful person in life. Respecting parent’s dream and daughter’s effort, Asha Chinh provided scholarship in year 2018 to pay for school fees, books and other stationery expenses.

Khushpreet Kaur, daughter of Mr. Visakha Singh studies in class XII of Khalsa Girls Sr. Sec. School. Despite of financial constraints, she put her extra efforts to score extremely well in her studies and give Asha Chinh a chance to sponsor for her education and other school expenses as it believes in investing in young minds as they are the future of our nation. Not only a bright student academically, she is a national level basketball player. Being an all-rounder, she makes her parents and family proud.

Kaksi, daughter of a single mother who works as a labourer, is a bright student of class VIII. She is taken care of by her guardian Mr. Nandu and has been performing exceedingly well academically despite of financial and familial crisis. Asha Chinh has taken the responsibility of supporting her in her education through scholarship in 2019 in order to reward her performance and motivate her to keep doing well in the coming years.

Jaswinder, son of Mr. Yashpal, is a brilliant student. He is studying in class VIII at Malwa Khalsa Senior Secondary School. He comes from a weak financial background and needed support in order to perform better in his educational journey. He was taken into the fold of Asha Chinh in 2019 so that enthusiastic students like Jaswinder don’t lose out on opportunities of life because of lack of resources.

Gurpreet

Gurpreet Singh has been consistently performing well in his studies for a long time. Though his father expired and mother is only a labourer, which puts him in difficult financial situation, Gurpreet has never shied away from working hard. Taking into consideration his commitment towards academics, Asha Chinh started to support Gurpreet  in 2019. He was helped in studies personally and through monetary help in buying books and paying the school fee.

Bhumi, daughter of Late Mr. Rajkumar, is taken care of by her mother. Her mother works as a labourer, who also has to support two other children apart from Bhumi.  Even though she comes from a big family with minimal resources, she has continuously performed well in her studies. Looking at her academic record in the past years and recognizing the need to be helped, Asha Chinh has taken her into fold since 2018. To motivate her to do well, based on her academic performance year on year she will be supported financially by Asha Chinh to pursue her studies.

Shivali

Shivali, a student of class XI , is a bright student at S.D.P. Senior Secondary School. Daughter of Mr. Jagmohan Sharma ,who works as a shopkeeper and supports 3 other children apart from her, Shivali has consistently performed well in her studies. She has been facing money crunch but this hasn’t made her back down in her academic path as she courageously takes on new challenges. Asha Chinh recognized the talent and extended support to her educational journey in 2018 by providing her the necessary financial support.

Varsha, student of class VII is one of the best performers of her class. She is the daughter of Mr. Kirat Ram who works as a rickshaw puller. She has been committed to her educational journey despite of the money crisis in her big family.  Asha Chinh supports such talent and has taken the responsibility of helping her in financing her studies in 2018 in order to motivate and reward her.
